Chinese Tourist Traveled to Busan for Shen Yun

BUSAN, South Korea—On the evening on Jan. 20, Shen Yun Performing Arts’ last show in Busan City ended successfully. Mr. Zou, from China, watched Shen Yun’s show twice that day. He came from a city far away to see the show. “It was not enough after I saw the first show. I bought a ticket for the show that night. If I can’t make it back home the same day, I will stay in a hotel in Busan,” said Zou.
New York-based Shen Yun can affect people deeply because it's mission is to present "traditional Chinese culture as it once was: a study in grace, wisdom, and the virtues distilled from the five millennia of Chinese civilization," according the Shen Yun website.
“I was most impressed by the last program. The scene was shocking when the tsunami came ... In this kind of moment, Buddha resolved the catastrophe and rescued the kind people from danger. One would only be blessed by Buddha if he believes ... ,” Zou said.
Zou was a fan of tenor Guan Guimin back in China. “I got to hear Mr. Guan’s voice again. It was so beautiful. I used to listen to his songs when I was in China. I can’t believe that after so many years I get to hear him sing again. I'm so lucky!”
When Zou walked out of the Busan Cultural Center, he had many copies of the program with him. He bought them to give to his family and friends. “It is such a pity that they missed such a wonderful show.”
“Nowadays people only care about making money. The social morality is degenerating and people’s minds are corrupted. It would be so great if Shen Yun could perform in China!” sighed Zou.
Zou heard about Shen Yun last year from reading The Epoch Times. “I bought a ticket after reading the introduction. I wanted to understand what the real Chinese culture and art was. After the show, I realized it was even better than it said in the Epoch Times. Last year I watched two shows consecutively as well. I also learned about the persecution of Falun Gong in China.”
